Duglas Sons Star Night 2008
DSL Star Night 2008 the felicitation of the sales forces - the agents spread all over the country of Duglas and Sons Ltd- took place at Water’s Edge Hotel, Battaramulla, in a grand functon where they were entertained, recognized, and rewarded. On asessment of their performances and achievements these sales agents were rewarded.
DSL are sole agent for leading Japanese auto parts in Sri Lanka and DSL Star night is an annual event of the company and its main purpose is to recognize the business achievements of their dealers over the past year and this year’s event hosted more than 700 dealers.
Kadawatha Pathma Motor Stores was adjudged the best DSL Dealer in Sri Lanka and the first runner up was Galle Motor Stores while the 2nd runner up was Ja-Ela Dunstan Auto Traders.
Last year DSL acknowledged the achievements of their star dealers by posting them to a three day holiday in Bangkok and was attended by around 350 of their dealers island wide.
DSL Auto Parts Division achieved its market leadership through its impressive range of Japanese products such bas Mitsubishi belting, NGK spark plugs Exedy clutches, Tokico shock absorbers, Cherry gaskets, NPW water pumps and Union Japan filters. Spare parts division has been the pioneering arm of DSL. Its product range has been extended to include Indian auto parts; and DSL is a major importer of such parts for both Tata and Leyland vehicles.
