Rooms: Both units: first floor — great room with double doors to a loggia or patio; dining area; half-bath; kitchen; and single-car garage. Second floor — master suite with walk-in closet and tub/shower combination; 2 secondary bedrooms that share a bath; and laundry room.

Outstanding feature: Compact, efficient use of space with green-building features including Icynene insulation, sustainable and local materials, low or no volatile organic compounds in the finishing materials.

Ceilings: flat; 9 feet 4 inches on the first floor, 9 feet on the second floor.

Dimensions: 40 feet wide by 68 feet deep; roof height, 27 feet above grade.

Construction: Concrete block on the first floor, wood frame on the second floor.

Estimated cost: $140 per square foot, or $447,580, without the lot.

Energy features: R-3 insulation in the concrete block, R-13 in the wood frame, R-19 in the ceilings; attic radiant barrier, tankless water heater, high-efficiency heat pump.

Options: Insulated glass can be used on the windows.
