Martinrea International May Cut 800 Jobs at Plant, Union Says

Feb. 11 (Bloomberg) — Martinrea International Inc., a
Canadian auto-parts supplier, may cut 800 jobs when it closes a
plant in Kitchener, Ontario, the Canadian Auto Workers Union
said.
The company has already laid off 400 other workers at the
plant, which makes automotive frames, the union said today in a
Canada NewsWire release. The company plans to close the plant in
April 2009, the union said.
