AUTOSHOWChevrolet Europe sees 1 mln vehicle sales in 57 yrs
GENEVA, March 4 (Reuters) - Chevrolet Europe expects to
more than double its annual sales volume to more than 1 million
vehicles within five to seven years, the executive director of
the General Motors Corp (GM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) unit said on Tuesday.
Wayne Brannon, the executive director for Chevrolet Europe,
also told reporters at the Geneva auto show that the car
company would like to expand into new areas such as a compact
pickup truck, compact sport-utility vehicle or other vehicle.
“I feel comfortable in saying that Chevrolet will be a
million units in Europe in the next five to seven years,” he
said.
